Perth's most flexible builder

Individual Designs

“I’ve been to hundreds of display homes, have mountains of brochures and still can’t find exactly what I want!” or, “I know what I want, I just need a builder who’s prepared to listen and help” are two of the most common statements we hear. Unfortunately, too often, we also hear, “I can’t find what I want so I will settle for that”.

Highbury Homes completely understands this dilemma and believes people should follow their dream.

Every person has their own ideas and ideals.

Blocks come in many shapes, sizes, levels and orientations.

Homes can be built in a multitude of styles and looks

We listened and created ‘Flexibuildity’, the fundamental core of our building philosophy.

We enjoy a challenge and seeing you completely satisfied so we’re delighted to take on a one-off complex design, even on a homesite with an unusual size and/or shape.

We’re also just as eager to create your compact cottage home as we are to design a more substantial single-storey, split-level residence or your most ambitious multi-storey dream home.

And you'll find the process of doing so easy and affordable.

The Process

Firstly speak to one of our helpful Building consultants.

Many of them are designers in their own right and can help you with your initial concepts, at no cost.

They will also help you with information on site works, budgets, council regulations etc. Depending on the complexity and your individual requirements, your building consultant will liaise with our in house designer and estimator to finalise a concept plan and estimates for construction.

This may go to and fro a number of times until you are completely happy with your plans and our estimated costs.

We may have a nominal fee for this service, depending on the scope of work required, but this will be a fraction of the cost to engage an architect and is credited to the price of the house should you proceed to construction, essentially making it a free service.

Talk to your consultant for further details.

Once you have the concept plan and quote for your dream home, we can proceed down the path of more detailed drawings and documentation via a Preparation of Plans and contract documents Agreement (PPA). While we are preparing this, you will have your initial appointment with an independent interior designer to discuss the process of choosing your internal colors, ceramic tiles and so forth.

Some projects may require certain Council approvals that we can address at this point.

Your Building Consultant can advise you further here.

Once your contract documents are prepared and signed off, we prepare and submit for a building licence.

During this period, you have further consultation with the interior designer and meet with your Highbury Homes Project Administrator to finalise your selections and plans.

Shortly after all the necessary approvals are in place, construction commences and you sit back and enjoy the excitement of seeing your dream become a reality!
