Building Excellence – Creating Dream Homes
Highbury Homes offers the full service when it comes to building your home. Working at the business on a daily basis are owners Chris Bishop, John Beattie and Jim DeBaughn, who started the company in 1999. Since its inception, Highbury Homes has prided itself on making clients feel like family, not just another number. Known for ‘flexibuildity’ with design, location, construction, involvement and specification, the company enjoys a challenge and can take on one-off complex designs, home sites with an unusual size or shape, cottage homes, single storey, split-level or multi-storey designs throughout Perth.
Pictured here is Highbury Homes’ display The Limelight II, located in Iluka. The stunning house showcases the company’s attention to detail and eye for immaculate design. The Limelight II display has a large kitchen with an abundance of cupboards and bench space opening directly onto the alfresco area, as well as a separate scullery and seamless stacker doors that open into the kitchen and dining room, effectively bringing the outside in. Spacious, bright and open, The Limelight II also has a guest wing with its own access and ensuite. Additionally, there are large bedrooms with high ceilings and fully-fitted wardrobes, and an upstairs lounge room with direct access to the balcony. The large, grand, executive-styled master bedroom has an ensuite with a freestanding bath, a large hobless shower and a spacious vanity. The Limelight II not only offers comfort, it is also a stylish contemporary home with a beautiful interior and exterior styling.
Pictured here is The Horizon, another of Highbury Homes’ display houses. Located in Port Coogee, it has been designed to take full advantage of the surrounding breathtaking views. The kitchen, living room and dining area are on the first floor to make the most of the views – perfect for sites nearby the ocean, river or with spectacular valley views. The living area opens directly onto the balcony via stunning stacking doors, making it simple and convenient when entertaining family and friends, while a stacker window from the kitchen to the balcony makes a great servery. Also located on the first floor is the private main bedroom and luxurious ensuite, while downstairs are three additional bedrooms, a large bathroom, the laundry and the theatre room. There are striking raked ceilings throughout the kitchen, living room and dining area, and architectural elevation with the skillion roof. Chic and sophisticated, The Horizon makes a statement.
Highbury Homes prides itself on superb customer service, and has won customer service awards from both the Master Builders Association (MBA) and Housing Industry Association (HIA). John Beattie and Jim DeBaughn are both registered builders with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to construction, and are onsite each day. Chris Bishop was previously a quantity surveyor and takes on the running of the business internally, helping to lead the business into the future. Building an impressive 50–60 homes each year, Highbury Homes builds anywhere from Yanchep to the north and Lake Clifton, south of Mandurah. The company also builds to the east, as far away as the hills areas and up to Chittering.
